but Sweetly Broken Crushed ~ It was during a time of Disobedience that Basil sustained a broken neck. He was left broken physically, emotionally and spiritually. As soon as he was in a place of obedience the Lord completely healed him and revealed to him his next season of ministry. Basil still carries steel and screws in his neck as evidence of his disobedience. He looks back on what was the most difficult time of his life and says: “I was crushed, but sweetly broken.” Sweetly Broken ~ As we come closer to the end of the age, the pressures of life will weigh in more heavily on the Faithful. At times we are tempted to doubt our Lord’s love for us and to believe that He has abandoned us. This CD is meant to dispel that fear and unbelief and to remind us that we are more special to God than anything in this whole world. He is your “Mighty Fortress,” “Jesus Loves You,” He will never abandon you; “He Will Be There,” always. In spite of what is happening in your life right now, you must believe that “Healing Rain” is coming. He allowed me to be crushed but “Sweetly Broken”, but He never left me.
